OK, getting ready to buy a roll bar for my ’97 Leather Package. I’m
assuming that in the installation i will have to remove the bar from behind
the seats. Am i correct because if not then that rollbar will look kinda
funny – leaning toward rb style V.
Thanks,
Daniel

Wrong. My ’96 LP has a Hard Dog Sport, with diagonal and rearward
bracing and I *still* retained the brace. The bar is a royal bitch to
put in though. I recommend having a pro put it in if you have as
little experience mechanically as I do. Check out
http://www.ottawa.net/~tanner/stripes/woody.html for pix of Woody with
the
bar. There’s even a bonus pic hidden at
http://www.ottawa.net/~tanner/stripes/images/woody3.jpg. They aren’t the
best pics for examples
or rollbars, but you can kinda see what I mean. And, yes, the sign
in the rear picture is real.Fun, huh?
Scott and Woody, looking forward to Deal’s Gap…
