 There are something like 5 different adjustments on the window
 to alter the way it contacts the top.

Nah.  We get an amount of rain resembling Florida.  But over
here in CA, nature rains the water down.  In Florida, nature
simply collects all available water and then drops it.

 I just looked at our local ‘climate summary’ and we have had 18.84
 inches YTD, just over normal (18.44), despite being low for the
 month (0.26 -vs- 1.90; April is normally fairly dry).  How does it
 compare in California so far?  

 From the stories I have seen, national news panic when they get an
 inch or so, I can’t imagine that they have ever seen 3 or 4 inches
 in an hour during a summer dump, or our normal of 60+" per year.  

 But I do see that L.A. has 27.86" for the season, well over the
 14.16" normal.  No wonder you left coasters are complaining.  You
 probably don’t get it all in 10 minutes with the sun back out
 afterwards either.

I have it (now). The blasted white shoe polish they use to put
numbers on your windshield just drips of it.  I had a heck of
a time getting rid of all the shoe polish.  It does
seem to make a difference in visibility. But I have only seen
it so far in California, not in *real* Florida rain.

It’s odd, I get less rain in the car on the hwy if I leave the top
down than if I put it up. For some reason the upper edges of the

Yes, unlike one of our local dealers you just MIGHT want to ensure
that you didn’t set a lock box (the little thing that hangs on the
window and holds the car keys) on the rear deck before you lower the
top.. That salesmans paycheck is now a good bit lighter.. (wince)
