Are all the old posters anywhere to be found. My computer has been ill for
the last few weeks and I wanted to read the old posts to see if I missed
anything.

AFAIK, all the old posters are still around. To see what they
posted recently, go to
http://www.dejanews.com,
select a power search, and enter the starting date you want
in the corresponding box.
