I have a 2000 Miata, and I just started having a problem securing the latch
on the passenger side.  The problem is, the latch will no longer lock
closed.  Does anyone know how to adjust the handle back, so it will catch
under the button again?

I own a 1990 Miata which is in excellent condition. My only complaint has
been having to hassle wit the rear zippered window. In reviewing the web I
found the Duetto GlassFold Top that you can purchase for my model. I would
like to hear some feedback from anyone who has one of these tops installed.

I also have an Oris Windstop and I’m concerned about whether this would
interfere with the top folding and laying flat. The top sounds too good to
be true, so I’m a little cautious. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I saw somewhere an aftermarket fuel rail for a 96′.  I can’t find who made
it now.  Does anyone know who makes it?

Also, I was wondering the advantages of changing out the fuel rail.  I am
planning to putting on a AVO turbo and run about 12psi of boost.

Somewhere on our Ottawa trip, one of my fog lights on my ’02SE got
smashed! It looks like a direct hit to center! The lens is broken and
some parts pieces of glass are gone. Anyone know how complex it is to
fix? I have looked at various Miata sites and cannot find any
information. I am trying to avoid dealer repair, if I can, for cost
reasons. Any input will eb appreciated!

Many years ago in an earlier existence I had a Austin-Healey 3000 with
both a soft and hard top. The hard top was not all that good at keeping
the weather out. I am looking at a couple of Miatas and was wondering if
the factory available hard tops are a worthwhile accessory for someone
in the Pacific Northwest, USA.

I have installed an aftermarket head unit in my 2002 Miata and regardless of
the wiring changes I continue to pick up alternator noise when the engine is
revving…especially when i put some accessories on such as lights and/or
fan

any suggestions on how to kill this noise

 Hello folks, I was wondering if you guys can help me here. I’m looking for
side-skirts for my 99 Miata. The only problem though is hard to find, either
the vendors don’t carry them, or is been discontinued. You guys know any

My ’95 M-edition recently turned over 87k miles. As of late, I’ve been
occasionally hearing a clunk or knock from the front end of the car. It
seems to be from the left side. I think it happens mostly while turning
(especially left?), though I know it’s happened several times while going
straight, and it always seems to be at low speeds. It’s more of a metallic
sound than anything else and I have a sneaking suspicion that it has
something to do with the suspension, though I could be completely incorrect.

I do need new shocks, though the ones on the car aren’t ridiculously lousy.
That said, I don’t know that they ever *seem* that bad on a Miata, even when
they’re well worn.

Anyone have any ideas? I haven’t been in a good position to remove the wheel
yet, but would like to know what I’m looking for while I’m digging around in
there. Thanks in advance.

After getting the clutch replaced on
my 2001 to fix the clutch shudder
problem, a popping sound emerged; it
came from the rubber boot directly
under the shift lever.  I took the
center console out and verified in
deed the boot was making the noise.
But why is it popping all of a sudden?
The dealer only replaced: 1) clutch,
2) clutch cover, and 3) flywheel; the
sound is puzzling me. Has anybody
experienced this strange effect?
