I was wondering if anyone knows of a comparison of all the headers
available for the Miata.  Mine is a 1999 Miata. But an apples to apples
comparison based on any common Miata platform would be great.

It would be nice to compare price, finish quality, HP gain, and ease of
installation.

I think I heard a mention of a comparison of this sort.

I recently purchased a used hardtop and seem to be missing two latches.
I don’t know if this is an oem or after market top but there are no
corner latches, just windshield and rear latches that hook up to the
studs on my rear deck. It seems to fit tight and correctly and that’s
all the previous owner said he had or used to mount it on his car. There
doesn’t even look like the top can have corner latches and my car was
not equipped with them either. Is this normal? There are no names on the
top that jump out at you. Could it be after market and that’s how they
intended it to mount with no corner latches?

Anyoone come across clear tail lamps for  the Miata. I’ve checked just
about every Miata site oout there and cannot find’em.

I am going to drill my holes for the rollbar install today.  I would
like to seal up all of the newly drilled areas with something that will
stay in place. I have used silicone on a vehicle in the past with poor
results, as the silicone eventually just pulled away from the metal. Is
there any particular product that is better than others?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated,

I love my ’96, but the California sunshine doesn’t.  The previous owner
apparently parked outside without a cover/garage, as evidenced by the aomunt
of oxidizing on the trunk, bumpers and mirrors.

I’d love to get her repainted, but am afraid of getting an ‘earl scheib
special’

Anyone in the Los Angeles area (Burbank/Valley) able to recommend a shop?
Also, what can I expect to pay.

Is there anyone who can send be a blue print from a metal second rear
bumper. You know like a bull bar but then on the back.

In Europe you can buy those things but only in Chrome, I need one in black
so I will have to make it myself, not to make mistakes on where I need to
attach the bar on the car I would like a blue print of those bars, maybe
there’s someone out there who can help me

I just had a Jackson Racing Stage 1 clutch put in my Sebring today, and
while cruisin’ around trying to break it in, I noticed that every now and
then i would hear a metallic clanging sound coming from the transmission. Is
this normal is breaking in a new clutch? It only did it about 5 times total
all night but I’m still concerned. Also, how long should I go easy on the
clutch before its broken in? And what is exactly is defined as "easy"?

My son just purchased a 99 miata and on the drivers door well the factory sticker says …….." Bumper and theft protection activated at time of shipment"……… I assume the bumper means the "air bags" but am only gesesing………What does the theft portion mean any one know…….No security light comes on before starting……..Thanks
