Hello folks!!
I am a happy owner of a red 1990 (B) Miata. It has all the standard B
model features and also has a Motorola flip phone charger in the
middle where the cup holder should be. I also have the hardtop in
addition to a new softtop. I have a viper alarm along with the radar
unit. Additionally, the previous owner had a new engine put in it
from Mazda, so although it has 90,000 miles, I have a new engine.
Question: I have always had trucks and am not used to the low ground
clearance, and as a result, have scraped the front part of the car
that is made of plastic. This has caused the paint to peel. Also,
the previous owner had recently painted the vehicle (hard top too).
Other bad news? I was "trapped" behind a leaking gravel truck and
where the extraneous pieces of gravel hit my paint and "little pock
marks". What can I do to correct the patches and is there a preferred
wax to use?
Thanks for all comments and suggestions.
