It’s called the 1999 model. 140HP up from 133HP. The rear looks like a new RX7. Front has stationary headlights that don’t close and open. Interior changed some. Speedometer reads 145 instead of 140. Stock still can’t do 140 though.

See Car & Driver, Road & Track, Motor Trend – any of these for the last 2 months at least have featured the Miata. Automobile featured it in the December issue.
And miata.net (the KEY website for ALL things Miata) has a big collection of photos, etc. on all Miatas, including the new one.
